Art Set by GAEP Unveils Art Commission for a Logistics Hub

·

The new textile installation by artist Wanda Hutira, commissioned by Art Set by GAEP for Kuehne + Nagel Romania, combines the world of pixel art with that of traditional Romanian weaving, inspiring employees to imagine a future together.

Just as pixels—the small units of color—create a digital image, the 10,000 squares of the textile installation come together to form a single image of vegetation. It stretches 44 meters in length in the logistics hub in Bolintin Deal, bringing energy and color to the space.

The first message of the installation, from September 2024 to March 2025, is ‘învățăm împreună’ (We Learn Together). This statement will change every six months, shaped by the choices made by Kuehne + Nagel employees. By scanning a QR code, they can vote on what the future ‘together’ will look next time.
