Six months after the unveiling of the installation commissioned by Art Set by GAEP for Kuehne + Nagel Romania, the project entered its second stage. The part of the installation containing a written text changed to ‘suntem împreună’ (We Are Together) – a message chosen by the employees themselves. They were given three options, and the message with the most votes was turned into a piece of art by Wanda Hutira.
Spanning 44 metre in length, Wanda’s textile installation brings color and energy to the company’s logistics hub in Bolintin Deal. Aesthetically, it combines the world of pixel art with that of traditional Romanian weaving. But its purpose is far-reaching: it encourages team members to imagine a future together and to make their voices heard by deciding the written content of the piece.
This is how it works:
- The employees scan a QR code available in the logistics hub.
- They vote on their favourite message.
- Together with their colleagues, they discover how they reshaped the artwork.
Inaugurated in September 2024, the textile installation will have a total of four iterations, produced every six months.
